Online license renewal

As you are aware, registration and renewal of licenses for professional and private practice is now done online via https://www.registration.unmc.ug/

However, it has come to our attention that some nurses and midwives are experiencing challenges while using the online registration and renewal system, especially with renewals.

Also, given the fact that, most licenses will expire in December 2023, Uganda Nurses & Midwives Council has designated a help deck at UNMC offices for the whole of October 2023, (8:00am to 5:00am), to assist nurses and midwives renew both professional and private practice license.

You are required to come along with the following;

1.     Scanned original copies of the expired license

2.     Scanned copies of original Certificates

3.     Passport photo (softcopy, sized 50x55mm, colored with a white background)

4.     Scanned copies of S4 pass slips & certificates

5.     Scanned copies of S6 pass slips & certificates, where applicable

6.     UNMEB certificate for enrollment and diploma, where applicable

7.     University transcript and certificate for degree holders

Please note; all scanned documents should be saved as pdf and passport as JPEG.
